Plasma

Plasma is the liquid component of blood. Approximately 90% of it is water, which enables the substances dissolved in it to be transported, and 10% of electrolytes, nutrients (e.g. glucose), hormones, proteins, antibodies, organic acids and waste products (e.g. creatinine).
