My CV
I graduated in medicine with a specialisation in gynaecology at the university of St. Petersburg. After moving to Italy, I graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Chieti and Pescara. My postgraduate degrees include preventive, anti-ageing and aesthetic medicine (the latter degree obtained in the USA), as well as trichology (study of the anatomy, physiology and pathology of hair), nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Long years of clinical practice in various general hospitals in the Marche and Emilia Romagna regions allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge in my fields of specialism. I currently practise at ADLER BALANCE Spa Resort in Ortisei, as well as running my own private surgery in Porto San Giorgio.
My approach
In my practice, I have always believed in integrating conventional Western medicine with tried-and-tested complementary therapies. Over the years, I have grown increasingly acquainted with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Its approach to health is deeply rooted in the concept of Qi (life energy). Rather than focusing on the symptom, it views the human being as a mind-body complex that is interconnected with its environment. My idea is that a holistic, well-integrated approach can allow for easier and more effective diagnosis and therapies. For each patient, I devise a tailored therapeutic plan based on a preliminary cognitive interview and an in-depth medical history, taking into account the person’s needs – not just in terms of clinical situation, but also and above all with a focus on quality of life.
