Melasma

Melasma is a skin condition that manifests itself in the form of extensive patches of discolouration on the face or other parts of the body. Melasma is mainly associated with imbalances in oestrogen and progesterone production and is more common in pregnant women. For this reason, it is also known as the “mask of pregnancy”.
