Dilated capillaries

When the small blood vessels located under the skin surface dilate, they become visible. Dilated capillaries can occur on the legs and ankles as well as on the face.

Women are the most affected by this disorder which can, though harmless it itself, evolve into varicosis or vascular fragility.
