Cell regeneration

Cell regeneration is the process by which the body repairs damaged tissue by replacing cells that are no longer functional with new ones. The cornerstone of the healing process, cell regeneration peaks during the night when the body is resting and produces several million new cells. Ageing leads to a gradual decrease in regeneration capacity.
