Angioma

An angioma is a benign neoplasia of the superficial small blood vessels. Its shape can vary from a small nodule to a round, pea-sized growth. Its colour can also vary from light red to purple. Angiomas mainly affect the elderly and are entirely harmless, although potentially unaesthetic.
